ISAAC & DENCHUK PRIVACY POLICY

Isaac & Denchuk is committed to respecting the privacy of individuals and limits the collection, use and storage of personal information to what is required for legitimate business purposes.

Our Privacy Policy includes guidelines on the collection and use, accuracy, storage, and disclosure of your Personal Information as follows:

  • Collection and Use: Isaac & Denchuk collects certain personal information about individuals and organizations with whom we do business and limits the collection and use of personal information to that required for valid business purposes or to comply with legislation or professional standards. This information is generally limited to contact information (name, address, phone number, e-mail address, etc.), and land information (civic address, legal description, certificate of title number, etc.). Personal financial information (i.e. credit card information) is destroyed after legitimate use or retained only to the extent necessary to maintain required financial records.

  • Accuracy: Isaac & Denchuk will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the personal information it collects and uses is accurate. Individuals providing personal information will have the opportunity to review and correct their personal information, and on request by an individual to whom the information relates, Isaac & Denchuk will modify the information as required.

  • Storage: Isaac & Denchuk will store personal information using hard copy and/or electronic means in such a way as to prevent unauthorized collection, access, use, disclosure or disposal of the personal information.

  • Disclosure: Isaac & Denchuk will not disclose personal information or copies of works produced for clients to any third party unless the affected individual consents or unless required by the nature of the work (e.g. planning officials, zoning officers, municipal officials, architects, etc.). Once registered, by law, plans prepared for registration in Land Titles Offices become part of the public record and are available to the general public.
